Last night we thought wed try it again. This was our 4th time there and still the service was deplorable. First I had to find someone to seat us , then it took another 15-20 minutes for anyone to come over to get just our drink order. Then it took awhile for that to come out also. Then my drink was undrinkable and I had to send it back (which I never do). Then it took some time for our dinner to come out too. My fish sandwich was terrible and I only ate 1/2 , my husbands shrimp taco had absolutely no taste. Its such s nice location and is a shame its being mismanaged. They def need more servers and need better organizational skills. Please listen to all the other reviews because Id hate to see this place go down the tubes.
This was our first time trying this restaurant and we both enjoyed it very much. Our server was great and very attentive. The food was delicious - my husband had calamari which he loved and he also really enjoyed the cheese grits he ordered as a side. I had the shrimp tacos which were the best I ever had. I have never seen such big shrimp in a shrimp taco, and the tortillas were grilled which gave them a great flavor. The ONLY thing that give this a 4 star rating instead of 5 was the time it took for the food to come out. I can only assume they are short staffed in the kitchen, because when our server brought it to us it was piping hot so it had obviously just been made. I thought the price was very reasonable for all the food we ate. We will definitely be back; there are lots of other things we want to try on the extensive menu.
We would really like to love this place....we have been several times, the best place to get great service and hot food is sitting at the bar. Other than that, the service is always slow and the food has not been up to par. Last weekend, we decided to go for breakfast at 8:00 (which I looked it up before we left) and we got there at 8:00 and the hostess said, Oh, we are not opened until 9. This could be a great restaurant and gold mine especially since they don't really have any competition except the Tiki Bar.
Worst dining experience ever. (Wouldn't allow me to give e zero stars) We figured we'd give them a second chance. Extraordinarily bad idea. 20 minutes for the waitress to come to the table, 3 attempts to get the drink order right, another half hour to take food order. 2 hours, 1 beer no food. Left money on table for beer and walked out. Went to Steak 'n Shake. Great food. Fast, excellent service. Smiling, happy people. Great experience. Avoid Lilly's at all costs. Worst restaurant ever. (AND... it's Saturday night.) No worries. They should be out of business soon. Too bad it wasn't soon enough for us...
Great food and great atmosphere. Very laid back and easy going. Food is very tasty and the margaritas are as well. You can even play in the sand and the lake or bring ur boat up to shore.. highly recommended for a slow down good time.
